2024-2026 Community Sport for All Initiative

Cycling Canada is thrilled to share the programs that we will support through the 2024-2026 Community Sport for All Initiative (CSAI) from Sport Canada’s Sport Support Program. Supported programs will focus on supporting HopOn sustainability at the club level and national capacity to offer programming to under-represented groups in sport. These projects aim to reach the following under-represented groups: Indigenous, Newcomer, Persons with a Disability, Racialized, Low-Income, Black, and 2SLGBTQQIA+ communities.

Cycling Canada has partnered with 27 clubs across 11 Provincial/Territorial Cycling Associations (Cycling Association Yukon, Cycling BC, Manitoba Cycling Association, Cycling Nova Scotia, Cycling PEI, Vélo New Brunswick, Fédération québecoise des sports cyclistes, Cycling Northwest Territories, Bicycle Newfoundland & Labrador, and Ontario Cycling) to help get more kids on bikes across the country.

The funding is made possible by the Community Sport for All Initiative (CSAI) component of the Sport Canada Sport Support Program, which seeks to remove barriers and increase sport participation rates for underrepresented groups.
